The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival is 10 days of music of all kinds.It began in 1970 with headliners such as Mahalia Jackson, Duke Ellington, Pete Fountain, Al Hirt, Clifton Chenier, Fats Domino, The Meters, The Preservation Hall Band and many more.
Past performers include: Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Bon Jovi, Pearl Jam, Neville Brothers, Wide Spread Panic, Elvis Costello, Earth Wind & Fire, Gipsy Kings, Gov’t Mule, Steve Martin, Jeff Beck, Old Crow Medicine Show, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, B.B. King, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Flow Tribe, Colin Lake, Dr. Lonnie Smith Trio, John Mayer, Dave Mathews Band, George Benson, Better Than Ezra, Robert Plant, Tom Jones, Mumford & Sons, Jimmy Bufett, Willie Nelson and so many more!
There is (obviously) a ton of music, along with plenty of art, culture and food.
