IZZY THOMAS is a pop/rock artist from London. She has the vocal power of Amy Lee from Evanescence combined with the raw emotion of classic Alanis Morisette.
It’s tough to categorize her music into one genre because, until now, a category didn’t really exist. It’s almost like she combined rock guitar riffs with hip-hop beats, with strong vocal overlays and incredible emotion. Growing up, she was a fan of hip-hop. But she was also into the music of bands like Queen and artists like Michael Jackson. So when it came time to devise her own style, she combined all her musical passions. As a result, she ended up creating her own genre.
But she’s not just another “RWA” (Rocker With Attitude).
She is a big advocate for Autism awareness. It all stems from her own personal experience with the disorder with a family member. Izzy has been on a crusade, performing in schools and colleges throughout the UK, playing and talking to young people about Autism. She has helped bring awareness by talking about what it is, how to recognize the symptoms and how people can be more compassionate toward people who suffer from Autism.
As for her music, the world’s stage belongs to Izzy Thomas. She has played legendary stages in the UK and the U.S., like The Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles and Tootsies in Nashville. This track was just released a few weeks ago, and it is available for download now.
