JACOB LEE is an Australian pop singer/songwriter.
Art has been etched deep in his soul since the very beginning. He has always used music as the main vehicle of expressing himself.
But he is also a book author, releasing “Jacob Lee’s Book of Lyricism (Vol 1)” later this year. He takes songwriting to an entirely different level.
Many writers will write from their own perspective. Some will share wisdom they have learned from a particular experience. Others will share thoughts and emotions. That is great! It takes a lot of courage to open up and share their deepest, most vulnerable feelings with, literally, millions of people around the world.
Admitting that you are human and vulnerable is a very difficult thing to do. And songwriters who do that should be highly commended.
But Jacob Lee writes music from other people’s perspective. He is somehow able to put himself in other people’s shoes and see the world from “the other side of the fence”. To transport one’s outlook through someone else’s emotions takes an unheard-of amount of self discipline and understanding.
To be able to do that makes Jacob Lee super freakishly talented. Sometimes, when people go thru devastating events in life it is difficult to gain proper perspective. That’s why when a relationship (for example) falls apart, the one on the receiving end of the breakup spends hours talking to a friend to help them see that things will get better.
Jacob Lee writes songs that let people see their own situations from a different perspective and deal with things they may not have been in a position to deal with on their own. In other words, his music is like the best friend we all need from time to time.
If you don’t follow Jacob on Instagram, you may want to. He posts all forms of art, including images of music, as well as artistic photography and artistic drawings. This track was just released and it is available for download now.
