UPPERMOST is a highly-respected 30 year old electronic French producer.
Oftentimes, when a musician or artist is just starting out they are under the impression that they need the most expensive, high-tech equipment possible to create great music.
That’s not true at all.
In fact, when Uppermost discovered he could make great-sounding music with just a digital audio workstation, life’s possibilities opened up. He realized he didn’t need a group of people or a band to be a great musician. He could do this all on his own.
That is a freedom that many artists do not get to enjoy.
A singer may need someone to play guitar for them. A guitarist may need a drummer to stay in perfect time. A drummer may need a bassist to emphasise the downbeats of a song. A bassist may need a vocalist to sing the lyrics so they keep track of a song’s progression. So, it can be an all-encompassing circle that cannot survive without a single piece of the puzzle. But Uppermost is every member of his own band. Even though there is no vocalist in his “band” he still conveys a message in his music, even without lyrics.
About this latest track, he says:
“For a long time I thought that the most interesting moments in life are those where big changes happen, so I was always looking for them instead of focusing on the present moment. Over the years, music has helped me understand that happiness lives in the process. I made Inner Peace as a tribute to this silent, underlying, crucial slow walk that shapes everything else.”
His music inspires hope, passion and the pursuit of dreams. This is a brand new track from Uppermost, and it is available for download now.
