Daniel Ryn “Boketto”

Alt/Pop/Rock, Thai artist Daniel Ryn started in 2020 during the COVID eras.

During this time, Ryn made a trip to Los Angeles where he produced his most successful songs. What began as a indie computer music type project slowly evolved into a genre bending live band setup,  signing to Smallroom Music Label and releasing 5 singles to media acclaim. Now, Ryn welcomed  his new single Boketto on August 3.

Inspired by grunge and rock, Ryn states, “‘Boketto’ is a special one, as it’s the first time I bring the recording home to the label I’m in. We produced this at the label’s studio, what started out as a pop tune gravitated into a rock alternative one. It’s the song that reminds me that I used to like this type of music so much and I’m glad to finally have a rock song again. It is about a heartbreak song about longing about someone you can’t be with. In addition to creating music, Ryn founded and runs a live house music venue called Blue Print in Bangkok, started in March 2023, for indie artists. It has housed over 100 bands but has allowed Ryn to explore new sounds and gain more inspiration to write a rock song like “Boketto.” Blue Print is also where he shot the “Boketto” video. Ryn was able to man the camera and film it from a personal perspective.
