Liv Andersson “Sailor”

Listening to Liv Andersson’s music is like getting lost in a conversation at night. The German-British artist creates landscapes of words and sounds with melancholic undertones. Organic and cinematic arrangements weave a black cloth under which haunting visions and dreams come to live. After releasing her Debut Single „Paper Boat”, Liv Andersson now shares “Sailor”, the second single of her upcoming Debut EP. In 2023, Liv Andersson, her producer and her band isolated themselves at Studio Nord Bremen, a historic recording studio in northern Germany. In this period, five songs developed that will be featured on the artists Debut EP Paper Boat. Complementing the music, Paper Boat will also be accompanied by a three-part concept-video-series reflecting the songs’ vintage aesthetic and vivid imagery. Liv Andersson’s sound is a mixture of Folk, Jazz, and Trip Hop, inspired by artists such as Laura Marling, Fiona Apple, and Portishead. Her Folk Noir is fleshed out by her full and warm voice that spans fragility and expression.
