Marti West “Out Of My Head”

UK-based singer-songwriter Marti West released the official video for his record ‘Out Of My Head’, which features on his recently released 9-track album, Talking To Strangers, via Marti West Music. Notable industry publications Backseat Mafia, CLASH Magazine, Notion Magazine, EARMILK, Echoes And Dust, GAFFA magazine, and Indie Music Center have backed his music. Marti West has shared a retro video for his recently released single ‘Out Of My Head’. The video follows a young woman through an awful discovery which she captures on tape. Then, filled with resentment, she re-watches the video, transporting herself through the camera and back in time to exact her revenge.

Marti West discusses the video’s premise: “‘In “Out Of My Head’, the lead girl (Andrea Bellometti) prepares to face an inner conflict regarding her partner (Charlie Rowe). Conceived by emerging director Babalouis, ‘Out Of My Head’ was shot on both film and camcorder, interweaving the two mediums in such a way as to make us question love, trust, and reality itself.”

Based in London, UK and born in Tuscany to a family of musicians, Anglo-Italian singer and songwriter Marti West has spent the last 6 years building a career through his bittersweet blend of introspective indie folk and ethereal harmonies. His 2016 debut EP Istanbul was followed by a UK tour, where he played some of the country’s iconic indie venues like The Troubadour in Earl’s Court and Bristol’s The Fleece. Months later, his single ‘Feels Like Home’ started turning heads, landing a sync placement on NBC’s The Village. The momentum continued building with his 2019 single ‘Give Me Light’, which was used in Volvo’s First Trip commercial, and was recently licensed for Netflix’s hit movie Love in the Villa. Inspired by The War On Drugs, Amanda Bergman, and Big Red Machine, his music is comparable to Simple Minds, Bon Iver, and The Tallest Man On Earth.
