UK-based songstress AISTÈ released her debut album, The Theory of Everything, on vinyl and digital platforms on the 19th of May via Saphira Record Label.
On the LP, listeners will discover the blistering song ‘GIVE ME’, which premiered on CLASH Magazine and features alongside the previously released single ‘What’s Going On’, which was released with an official video and earned early support from tastemaker NOTION Magazine, adding to the list of notable music publications that have supported her work, including Atwood Magazine and CLOUT Magazine, UK fashion brand Underground England as well as webzines GUAP Magazine and Atomic Vox and more.
Having earned 700k streams across platforms, AISTÈ produces, choreographs, and edits her music videos. The ‘Money is Life’ video was nominated in the Best Director category at the 2020 KlipVid Awards. Having recently showcased her debut LP at her album launch concert at London’s Boutique music venue PAPER DRESS VINTAGE, she is currently touring Europe and might even make an appearance in the USA.
AISTÈ is a powerhouse artist-musician based in East London. Originally from the Baltics, she lived all over Europe before settling in the UK. After graduating from LSE, she began her life’s work in music. Her first-ever R&B-infused release, ‘Say When’, appeared in 2019. Since then, every new release proves that she’s destined for greatness. Since the Summer of 2022, she’s been working on her debut album, which she managed to write, in its entirety, in a single day! She is influenced by Stax Records’ artists as well as Jimi Hendrix, Cleo Sol, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, and more.
Infectiously funky, AISTÈ’s latest jam, ‘GIVE ME’, has all the making of a soul classic. Feverish piano keys cast a spell with the fervour of an impassioned preacher. It’s easy to picture the young singer sitting on the lid of a honky tonk piano in an old blues bar somewhere in Memphis. What a track to lead the release of her debut album…
AISTÈ describes her intention for the LP: “Through my debut album, ‘Theory of Everything’, I wanted to explore the beauty and interconnectedness of the universe, and the ways in which we can all tap into its power to find joy, inspiration, and balance in our lives. Each song is a reflection of the universal laws that govern our existence, and an invitation to embrace our inner joy and creativity. I hope that listeners will find comfort and inspiration in my music and that it will serve as a reminder of the infinite possibilities that exist within us all.”
