pMad is a Post-Punk, Gothic Indie Rock solo music project created by Paul Dillon from Portumna, Co. Galway, Ireland. Drawing inspiration from bands like The The, The Cure, Killing Joke, Echo and the Bunnymen, Rammstein, and Depeche Mode, pMad has developed a unique sound that traverses genres from Darkwave Post-Punk to Trash Metal Indie Rock.
Since its formation in 2021 during the Covid pandemic, pMad has achieved remarkable success. The project has topped numerous independent charts worldwide with its singles, garnering airplay on hundreds of radio stations. pMad has released two albums, including the debut album ‘Who Why Where What’ in 2022 and the latest album ‘I in Power’ in May 2023.
pMad’s music delves into the complexities of the human experience, embracing imperfections and encouraging listeners to enjoy life to the fullest. Songs like “Broken,” “Medicine,” and “Down” resonate with themes of self-survival and personal growth.
