Abi Carter “Comfortably Numb”

Pop artist Abi Carter has released “Comfortably Numb”, a dreamy track about feeling empty from a stagnant relationship. The track features soft layered vocals and poignant lyrics, highlighting her ability to craft specific yet universally relatable stories in her songs. The track marks the last single before the release of Abi’s debut album ghosts in the backyard in November.

According to Abi, “Comfortably Numb is about coming to terms with a relationship that is neither great nor terrible. You may feel fine and safe, but never really passionate. Ultimately that numb feeling becomes overwhelming, and you move on in pursuit of something that is more fulfilling.”

Fans should get excited for Abi’s debut album coming next month! The album is a continuation of the creative vision Abi has built with her recent singles “Peppermint Sky” and “some people need drugs” and their accompanying music videos.
