Blackbird Morning is an American rock band that formed in Saint Petersburg, Florida. The band is composed of vocalist Danielle DeCosmo and guitarist Anthony Goodwin, with Vincent DeCosmo on drums and bassist Richard Jimenez.
The band’s music has been described as “explosive organic rock.” Inspired by mysticism and ancient world influences, Blackbird Morning has created a unique sound inside the live rock band format, channeling the driving pulse of classic bands like Band of Gypsies and Led Zeppelin and adding angelic vocal harmonies with sacred sounds and deep poetic lyricism.
BBM self-produced and self-released their debut album Elements May 12, 2018 to a devoted fan base that describes it as a “flowing epic.” The album deals with core messages such as survival, persistence, beauty and enlightenment. The band is currently working on a new EP due out in the spring of 2021.
