CONFLUENCE “Azul”

Based in London, rising producer CONFLUENCE shared his latest dance single, ‘Azul’, via CNFLNC. He played the track for the first time during a 20 minute live set, which was organized by his Alma mater, Point Blank Music School, alongside other alumni. His recently released single, ‘My Everything’, earned press support from The Groove Cartel, Electronic Groove and Son Of Marketing. In 2019, representing his home country, France, the artists performed a live set at the celebration of Eurostar’s 25th anniversary, hosted at the Savoy Hotel in London. Other performances include the launch of the french sports brand Le Coq Sportif and the french fragrance house Guerlain’s collaborative project as well as a 3-hour set at the popular Cyberdog store in Camden Town, London. The producer has reached over 120k streams across platforms and has been featured on the YouTube channels Wanderlust as well as LYCKA.

Reminiscent of CamelPhat, ARTBAT, and Tale Of Us, ‘Azul’ will throw listeners into the deep end, leaving them to navigate unrelenting tides of dark tones and waves of syncopated oscillations. An enchanting vocal rides an entrancing bassline, galloping through moonlit fields of growing techno-infused rhythms. Refusing to stand still, the record drives further and further toward a penultimate peak, reaching it effortlessly.

A singular unforgettable moment sparked the French-born producer’s desire to pursue music: In 2012 he watched David Guetta and Nicky Romero perform what would become his all-time favourite song, ‘Metropolis’, live in Montpellier, France. He was certain he had glimpsed his future and, after receiving his first DJ controller for Christmas that same year, began exploring the realms of electronic music, where, ultimately, he found expression in House music. Expanding his abilities as an artist, he learned to produce the genre, taking inspiration from the likes of Jon Hopkins, WhoMadeWho, Moderat, M83, Adriatique, Max Cooper, and Lane 8.

CONFLUENCE describes the record: “’Azul’ is a Progressive House and Melodic Techno song with catchy a Hispanic vocal and melody. I was so inspired when I started to work on it that the track was finished in one day.”
