Quote for ‘it all remains the same again”:
It’s about those times where no matter how much work you put into everything, life still remains as miserable and mundane as ever. I wrote the song when I was going through the motions in a cake manufacturing factory. I would be mixing flour and sugar in mixing bowls singing the chorus to myself over and over. It’s a phrase I would say to myself constantly when the same problem keeps arising.
Although the music may sound happy at first, there is an underlying melancholy that you feel throughout. The repetitive nature of the melody and rhythm reinforce a feeling of the relentless momentum of life and time. Where since nothing changes, time feels like everything’s moving faster. I wrote, produced and mixed the song myself. The song has a more familiar pop structure with a singable chorus and high energy.
