Gemma Cox “What If?”

FOLLOW US:

Irish artist Gemma Cox is writing music that captivates her listeners as she brings them through an intimate re-imagination of her world. Gemma channels dreamy alt-pop of the likes of Sara Bareilles, Phoebe Bridgers and the Japanese House with a unique approach to lyricism and vocal harmonies. She started out playing open mics and busking on Grafton Street and last year, she released her debut EP and supported artists including Soda Blonde and Calum Bowie. She has been featured as one of the Irish under-the-radar acts to watch out for in the Irish Times.

Gemma ended 2023 on a high with a performance at Other Voices in Dingle and most recently was chosen to support Gavin James on his acoustic tour in Amsterdam. Her latest single ‘What If?’ is out 8th of March.

I wrote What If? after someone had ended things with me before it got serious, and at the time I couldn’t help but wonder, what if it had worked out?  – Gemma Cox
