The artist’s debut album Dotted Red with his side project FENGSEL received significant attention and was nominated for a Norwegian Grammy. His work has earned praise from notable publications Mixmag, COMPLEX, Highsnobiety, This Song Is Sick,** Magnetic Magazine and Kaltblut Mag as well as BBC Radio 6’s Tom Ravenscroft**.** Jerry Folk has remixed the likes of Billie Eilish, Charlie Puth and Oh **Wonder and produced for artists like Alina Baraz, Axwell Ingrosso and Lemaitre to name but a few. Having toured the US multiple times, Jerry Folk has opened for Odesza, played at Coachella and the Mixmag lab twice and garnered over 350 million plays across streaming platforms.

Oslo born and based, Jerry Folk has always been a traveller at heart. Each of his songs are unique in their own right as the producer refuses to stick to one particular genre. As he creates his exceptionally diverse music, Jerry Folk finds inspiration in artists such as James Blake, Sevdaliza, SBTRKT, Kaytranada and Flume. His latest offering is sure to be enjoyed by fans of PinkPantheress, James Blake, and Sam Gellaitry.

Inspired by early 2000s UK club music with a mix of hard-hitting drums and soft, sultry R&B vocals courtesy of Australian artist Chloe Kae, ‘Heart’ is a track that is both wistful and danceable – a potent combination**.** Expertly-spliced vocal samples are peppered throughout the track alongside Chloe Kae’s plaintively-sung lyrics, and a sweet synth winds its way around the song as the contrastingly gritty breakbeat drives the entire sonic experience into hypnosis.

Jerry Folk shared: “I made ‘Heart’ last year in a period where I was making a lot of melancolic dance music. It’s the second single of my upcoming EP which is Inspired by early 2000s electronic music from the uk that mixes club music and r&b vocals. I sent the track to Chloe Kae from the australian duo “Kllo” and she sent me back some really beautiful vocals to go with it. The goal was to make something melancholic but hopeful.”
