MO-NO illustrates the constant inner struggle which inhabits us between conditioning and free will. An unstable bass beats time, under swaying layers of synth and a mesmerizing arpeggiator, seemingly coming straight from the original soundtrack of “Drive” or of “Stranger things”. The tension then rises crescendo, symbolizing alienation by means of the beatings made by oscillators, until the final harmonic explosion and liberation. Afterwards, everything is swept away : “Such a hoax! Or is it fate ?”. This deep, intimate voice leaves us suspended, and keeps following us long after the listening is over, with all our questions unanswered.
