QARINAH is a metal duo made of Portland-based Miss Randall (ex-Rusty Eye) and Germany-based Waldemar Sorychta (Grip Inc., Voodoocult, Enemy of the Sun). Waldemar is a recognized music producer in the European metal scene, known for working with bands, such as Lacuna Coil, Tiamat, Samael, Moonspell, The Gathering, and more. Miss Randall is an eclectic singing drummer who was established in the LA and CDMX metal scene with 5 album releases with her former band Rusty Eye, but most recently, revamping her solo career with a first “Desertations, Vol.1” EP focused on Alternative Rock with key anthem single “Heaven Doesn’t Want Me.”“Hell or High Water” is their debut single/videoand was produced by Waldemar Sorychta and Miss Randall; vocals, guitars, and bass were tracked in Dortmund, Germany by Waldemar and Dennis Koehne; drums were recorded by recording engineer Jan Rechberger (AMORPHIS) at Moon Unit; and the song was mixed/mastered by Dennis Koehne (Sodom, Lacuna Coil, The Other, and more).The track premiered on Tattoo.com and video on Metal Insider.
