pMad “Who Am I”

Paul Dillon is a solo artist named pMad. He started out with writing and playing with The Suicidal Dufflecoats.

Now a member of The Greeting & his solo project pMad.
Covid-19 strikes and Paul sets up ‘The Best of Irish Indie’ on Facebook running a series of ‘Best of Irish’ polls with a wonderful group of Irish Indie fans.

Inspired by the group he unearthed all his own music collection and with the use of modern technologies, created a number of singles and a full album.
The debut single is ‘Who Am I’, released on 3rd December.

“If this was 1985 and Cathal Coughlan met Matt Johnson in London. And they decided they could make some music together. And they did and they made a record. If… if they did, it might just sound like the inspired new music from pMad.”

“This song takes your mind on a musical journal of discovery to the dark side. Upbeat, soulful backing vocals contrast to breath-taking effect against the deep, melancholic main vocal and the two contrasting styles work to make a sound unlike anything you’ve ever heard before”
