What happens when you mix restlessness, angst, distorted guitars, soaring vocals, theatrics, and a penchant for loud rock music with an unquenchable thirst to escape the dry-ass desert? Enter female-fronted power rock trio, Jane N’ The Jungle.
With over one million streams on Spotify with editorial playlisting on All New Rock, Fierce Femmes and Women of Rock Radio, the group are set to release their EP Ocean Creatures premiered via Wonderland Magazine and title track video via Celebmix The collection of unapologetic rock songs was produced by Chuck Alkazian with visuals provided by Jim Louvau and Tony Aguilera (NIN, Corey Taylor).
Hailing from Phoenix, AZ, the hook-laden rock band on the rise consists of fierce dynamic modern rock with 90’s alt and a twist of punk attitude, pulling inspiration from Garbage, Smashing Pumpkins, and No Doubt. With this body of work and the return of touring (fingers crossed), front-woman/songwriter Jordan White, guitarist Brian Dellis, and bassist Bryan Dague aka “Big B” are poised to be on the radar of every rock fan across the globe in short order.
The title track “Ocean Creatures” dropping with the EP is the final installment and combines two worlds from the depths of the oceans to the heights of space that are interwoven. The EP was born from vocalist Jordan White’s out of body experience she felt after being hit by a red light driver: stuck in a moment that she thought she was going to die. The band just played SXSW’s Ladybird Lake with Sammy Hagar and will be playing The Viper Room in Los Angeles on 3/26.
They have received Spotify Editorial, Music Choice, MTV Spankin’ New, and rock radio features and secured a custom Jane N’ The Jungle guitar giveaway by Gibson and were featured on Matt Pinfield’s “New and Approved” show on KLOS FM Los Angeles. American terrestrial rock radio then caught wind and began spinning the song across the country. The band has a livestream concert scheduled for April at the Gibson Guitar Showroom in Los Angeles that will raise money for Make A Wish AZ.
Gibson will also be in the studio with the band as they cut their next EP. In addition to media accolades from and inclusions by the aforementioned outlets, Jane N’ The Jungle have caught the attention of Music Choice, Alt Press, Huffington Post, Medium, Metal Injection, Women that Rock, Loud Women, Max Alt, The Hype Magazine, New Noise Punktastic, PHX New Times, AZ Central, and airplay on Sirius XM, KOZE, KLAQ, KQXR, WTPT, WRKZ, KCMQ, KILO, KWSS, KUPD, KDKB, KFMA, KFML, Jonathan L Best of 2020.
Their songs were heard on two primetime Regional Honda commercials with two original songs in Oklahoma and Alabama, and have been in line ups with artists like, DREAMERS, UPSAHL, Lacey Sturm, From Ashes to New, DED, Crimson Apple, Convey, Charming Liars, Shaman’s Harvest, Powerman 5000, A Silent Film, and Sydney Sprague.
