The Erly “Flame The Main”

Michigan-based indie band, The Erly, unveiled their latest musical creation, “Flame The Main” on September 20th. This infectious track is the fourth single to be released from The Erly’s highly anticipated upcoming album, “Culture Fever,” set to hit the shelves on November 3, 2023. As a tantalizing teaser for what’s to come, fans can look forward to an accompanying music video for “Flame The Main,” slated for release in the upcoming months. With this exciting new release, The Erly is poised to set the stage on fire with their unique blend of disco-infused sounds and visually captivating storytelling.

The music reverberates like a vintage Cadillac rumbling through the deserted streets of Main Street at 4 a.m., capturing the essence of a bygone era. The sonic landscape mirrors the atmosphere of a riverboat casino, and the lyrics echo the voices of enigmatic characters entangled in their dubious ambitions and vices. “Flame The Main” is a vivid narrative crafted by the band, delving into the turbulent life of someone thrust into a world of chaos, leading to a cascade of self-destructive behaviors. Themes of evasion, substance abuse, the relentless pursuit of intangible dreams, and a pervasive sense of insecurity all find their place in this riveting new rock track.

Michigan-based Indie-Soul group The Erly combine sonic elements from the ‘60s and ‘70s Rock, Pop, and Funk, creating a fresh “Modern Disco” sound and vibe of their own. Fueled by collaboration, friendship, and timeless good vibes, the quartet would fit right in at Woodstock ‘69 or at the indie nerve center that is SXSW. Most of The Erly’s music features clean guitar work, layered vocals, and groovy undertones that energize even their most solemn-sounding tracks. The band is composed of Drummer Fran Gleason, Bassist Collin Mattiford, Guitarist Trevor McDonald, and Keyboardist Alyssa Serviss, with all 4 members featured on vocals. The Erly was created in 2018 when Mattiford and Gleason decided to expand upon their pre-established musical duo. Since their formation in 2018, The Erly has released two full albums and four singles with more music on the way. “Paralyzed” dropped mid-August and “Flame The Main” is slated to launch on September 20th, both of which will be featured within The Erly’s upcoming record, Culture Fever – available on November 3rd, 2023.
